Raising Cellular Oxygen with a simple breathing techinque - endorsed by long time CFS clinician Paul Cheney

This could be a very powerful tool in raising cellular oxygen (and all the immune benefits from including killing pathogens).

Dr. Paul Cheney recently gave advice to use a specific breathing technique that would help increase the enzyme "2,3 DPG".

"2,3 DPG triggers the release of oxygen from the hemoglobin and allows it to enter our tissues. Without enough 2,3 DPG the oxygen cannot release from the hemoglobin into the cells. This oxygen deprivation causes the body to switch over to anaerobic metabolism, which produces tissue acidosis, which is painful. If 2,3 DPG levels can be increased, then more oxygen is transported from the blood into the tissues.

"What are the benefits of increased oxygen? They include more energy at the cellular level, suppression of yeast and other pathogens, and prevention of the swelling of the brain due to decreased oxygen."

  1. Inhale through your nose for four seconds
  2. Hold your breath for seven seconds
  3. Exhale through tightly pursed lips, creating "back pressure," for eight seconds.
  4. Do this eight times, twice a day, everyday.

That's all it takes to make your body think it lives in Denver instead of Dallas. You must do this regularly for it to work, and it takes weeks for the body to adjust the 2,3 DPG levels. But your oxygen transport will get better and better over time. This method is 3,000 years old, and has 30 years of clinical experience behind it. Dr. Weil believes it is the most powerful way to treat chronic illness. Compared to the rebreather, this is easier, cheaper, more effective, and you cannot overcorrect and get too much O2.

Using Activated Charcoal to dramatically reduce toxic load

In the world of mercury toxicity they give someone chlorella (an absorbant) 1/2 hour before eating. This is supposed to put the chlorella in place when the bile dumps. The bile contains a sample of the toxic material that is collected by your system and brought to the liver for disposal. The liver disposes of this in the bile. Bile is excreted to help digest fatty foods.

When you eat, the more fat in the meal, the more bile. If this bile is full of endotoxins you are going to get a large deposit of toxins into your digestive tract. The problem occurs because much or most of this toxic material is reabsorbed in intestines. You end up with a vicious cycle. That is until you ingest something that is very absorbent and will hold onto the toxic bile until it is excreted from your system. Suitable candidates are Activated Charcoal, Bentonite Clay, Psyllium husks, Chlorella and Modified Citrus pectin to name a few.

Taken indescriminately one may find some measure of relief but will not unlock the true potential of this mechanism. One can take advantage of the bile dump by putting the absorbent material in place when the bile dump happens. Eating a snack of nuts or other fatty (but healthy) food will cause the liver to dump bile. If you take your absorbant just before or during the snack it should travel with the food and be in place when the bile mixed with the snack. The bile is then absorbed along with it's toxic load and removed from your system.

This procedure should be done more than 2 hours after or 2 hours before a meal.

I'm experimenting with 260-520mg of Activated Charcoal per bile dump. It has done wonders already. The bowel movement is noticably green and black from the bile and charcoal and I am no less than astonished to find this may well be the source of most of my misery for the last few years.

I've found that I personally need to supplement 150-200mg N-Acetyl Tyrosine, 30mg B2 and 100mg Niacinimide 1 hour after and perhaps again in 2 hours as the Charcoal seems to be depleting me of these. There are studies showing Charcoal binding to Thyriod T4 (Tyrosine) and Nicotinic Acid (B3-Niacinimide). You might also take a Multi-Vitamin to cover the spectrum of what the Charcoal might remove along with the toxins.

It might be prudent to supplement with Bile Salts, Ox Bile or bile enhancing (and liver enhancing) supplements to replace what you are removing.

Withing three days I feel like a new person. I'm amazed and astounded. I would never have guessed that what was making me sick for 5+ years was some type of toxin in my system.

A Cure for Adrenal Fatigue

I have come up with a cure for Adrenal Fatigue that I've been very successful with. I have suffered from CFS/Adrenal Fatigue for 5 years. Saliva Test showed high morning cortisol (morning response) with low @ lunch, dinner and bedtime. Recent Thyroid bloodwork showed a very low-normal DHEA-S.

I have had symptoms of severe low cortisol. I have tried Isocort which helps sometimes and sometimes doesn't. At times it has brought my low body temperature back to normal within 15 minutes. I also have ear drops with HydroCortisone. A few drops on the skin will transfer a decent shot of HC. This stuff has saved me when I was too wiped out to get out of bed.

And I've tried with limited success the usual supplements like B5, Sea Salt, Vitamin C, Ashwagandha, Maca, Siberian Ginseng, Adrenal Cortex Glandular, Licorice. I think the Vitamin C has been the most helpful of that bunch and perhaps Licorice Tea.



I found my cure after taking one of Jarrow's B-Right B Complex capsules. I took about 1/5 of the capsule and felt very much improved within 10-15 minutes. I knew one or more of the ingredients in the capsule was helping me greatly. I was able to repeat this success over the next few days.


Since I already had and was taking most of the separate B vitamins, and Folic Acid and Choline I focused on the two in the vitamin that "B-Right" contains that I didn't have:
PABA and Pantethine.










I've researched these two extensively. The PABA especially is supposed to be able to potentiate cortisol, perhaps similar to what licorice does perhaps but much much better. The Pantethine provides some raw materials for hormones and is huge for production of Co-Enzyme A and seems to be synergistic with the PABA.

I start by taking 100mg of both per day at about 9 AM. The PABA is very caustic, I dump out about 1/5 of the cap under my tongue then wash down with water, then again (it will get stuck in your throat). You might try a PABA tablet if you prefer or buy empty caps and fill them. The Pantethine is an oil caplet. This one is easy. I puncture the cap with a push pin or "map tack" then squeeze out about 1/5 of the caplet onto my tongue (tastes fine). Then put the caplet away for the next day. The caplet will seal itself by the next day.

The first day I took these I was still going at 10pm and felt like I could go to the gym at that time. I was amazed. The next day I felt fine. No cortisol hangover. My body did not make less cortisol to compensate. I attribute that to taking a small dose. I would recommend you take the smallest dose of each that provides you just enough energy so when bedtime comes you are ready.

This has worked for myself and at least one other who is under my direct care. I knew someone who had the beginnings of Adrenal fatigue after a viral episode and heavy stress. She would have a cortisol crash before the end of the day, feel better after eating. Most of the symptoms I've come to be very familiar with after 5 years. I put her immediately on the PABA/Pantethine and she recovered quickly enough to return to the gym after a week.
